From one mama to another: just wear the swimsuit. Your kids don’t care about your rolls or stretch marks, they just want you there having as much fun as they are.
POSED v RELAXED
The picture that more accurately represents our time at the park yesterday vs. the one I posed for and had my husband take ~100 photos to get for the gram. Idk if this is how I’ll be posting from here on out, but it’s clear to me that more women need to see that they’re not alone. The stretch marks on my legs have been there since before I can remember. They also served as my biggest insecurity since I can remember.
Wrinkly belly buttons, stretch marks, and loose skin are all normal and very common parts of being pregnant and the aftermath. Light is being shown on this more and more, and yet I still don’t think it’s talked about enough. After having Nicholas I was so upset with my body, why me? Why did I a fitness professional end up with so many stretch marks and the 50 pounds of weight gain? No one, and I mean no one was sharing the real and raw side of pregnancy and postpartum life.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: do you really live in Central California if you don’t take pictures in the almond orchards?
Changing course can be scary. Changing plans can be intimidating. Saying goodbye to everything you thought you wanted sounds crazy. When I started building this life for myself and my family it meant I had to say goodbye to all of the things I thought I wanted.
My sisters kids are the best hype squad ever, when I threw this jacket on over my joggers and white tee I instantly became so “glamorous”. I’ll take five of those please 😏.
