Before I started lifting weights I was super worried about getting “bulky”, and after taking a few anatomy and physiology while dabbling with weight lifting I figured out that wasn’t a thing that would happen. Women’s bodies just aren’t built that way, we don’t have the levels of testosterone that men do which is what creates the muscle mass that they have. Ladies don’t be afraid to lift weights. Chances are the fit look you’re wanting requires heavy weight lifting to get there. After lifting for about 6 months I found out that my favorite muscle group to lift was back. It really became my favorite because I felt strong AF when lifting, and it really helped create that hourglass look that I never really felt I had before.
