As I approach the LAST week of this program I am so excited to be done! I have honestly surprised myself with how dedicated I’ve been. If you’ve been following along you know this has gone anything but the way I planned it. We were supposed to go on a vacation but then COVID-19 happened, and I surprisingly didn’t let that really affect my dedication. I did have about 2 weeks of “falling off” with my nutrition but even then I was at about a 70/30 split and I quickly got back to my 90/10 approach which most days ends up keeping me at 100%. (I’ll talk more about this approach in a different post)
Peak week means that I will have deplete days worked into the meal plan. I am going to follow the deplete days. I debated bumping up a calorie bracket for this week, but after looking over the schedule it’s pretty obvious we aren’t dropping calories those days, just carbs. So there’s no need to worry about my supply during those days. I wouldn’t recommend someone who is just starting out on their postpartum journey that is breastfeeding to do this though since your supply will still be working it out and regulating. We’ve been breastfeeding for 8 months and Emilia is down to 4 feedings a day and actually eats a bunch of food throughout the day.
Anyway, I’m excited for this week because we’ll be doing workouts from earlier in the program, and I can’t wait to see how much stronger I am than I was the very first time I did some of these! I haven’t weighed myself in a few weeks, taken measurements, or done any side by side progress photos because I really want to have it be a surprise when I do my final progression. So that’s why there haven’t been any weight updates the last few times I’ve done these weekly posts.
