Phase Three.. Let’s GO!

So with COVID-19 literally taking over the world and changing our lives as we know it there could have been two ways for me to handle this stress:
1. Give up on all my goals and let the stress and anxiety win
2. Dig in deeper and give my mind something else to focus on
I have chose the latter, so now more than ever I am diving into my workouts and staying on track with my meal plan. I know that this time is a huge trigger for a lot of people and can cause us to retreat and give up, but I challenge you to look at the things you were working on BEFORE this pandemic started and focus on making those things better.

There are a lot of people out there saying its okay to just veg out and do nothing, which it is okay to have a day or so where you aren’t going full speed toward a goal, but I think it’s dangerous to throw all caution to the wind and have nothing you’re working toward. I know for me the more “time” I have with idle thinking the more scary my world becomes. I start to research all the statistics on EVERYTHING, I find worst case scenarios, and dive in way too far into new articles and take in way too much negativity. I won’t go into all the sciene of why this is bad, but it doesn’t do anything positive for your mental stability. While I think it’s important to stay up to date on your local news and how the pandemic is affecting your area, but beyond that you should limit your consumption. The real question is how does this look for you? For your family?

For me, I’m diving into my work. I’ve started investing time in learning how to monetize my content more, so I can build my income from my work. This has been a goal for awhile and I finally bit the bullet and started making strides in that direction. I’m diving into my online coaching business and helping mentor other women to do the same. (apply here for mentorship– no experience needed) I’m diving into my own fitness journey and making sure that I’m being the healthiest I can be.

My updates as far as the program I’ve been doing this week are simple, I maintained this week. I did readjust and go 100% with my meal plan, but with a week of stand still I think I need to recalculate my calorie bracket and adjust some of the foods I’m eating. Hoping to see more porgress next week, btu regardless I am very happy with the progress I’ve made so far.
