I’m still doing the same program I was doing to prep for our vacation, and I’m still at an ‘all in’ mindset because honestly at this point I need to be. This is what has been helping me stay sane these last two weeks while everything has been escalating with the Coronavirus (COVID-19). I honestly let myself have a little bit of a pity party this week for a total of one day. I threw all caution to the wind and “fell off track”, then I woke up the next day and said “okay I’m back”. Just because life gets hard or crazy does not mean we have to continue letting it be that way. Our reality is what we make it. I can choose to be miserable about a cancelled trip or I can be grateful that we have the knowledge to try and flatten the curve of this pandemic and stay home. I’m choosing gratitude.
This last week my workouts have been happening at night, but it’s just the way it’s worked out and it’s working pretty well. I feel less hungry throughout the day because my meals are spread out differently due to timed nutrition, and I honestly really like the set up I’ve been following.
I’m feeling really strong in my workouts and like I’ve been able to focus on my pushing myself as hard as possible during each workout as well. I can really feel the difference in the way I hold myself, my appetite, and overall how I feel. It’s been such an amazing process and I’m so glad I’ve been able to share a weekly update with all of you here.
Stepping on the scale this week I wasn’t sure if I was still going to see a decrease, but sure enough another pound gone I’m now at 139.7 and seriously am so shook that I’m STILL losing weight every week. This so far has been such a good learning experience for me and being half way through I can honestly say I am so excited for the next six weeks and to see how my body changes. With a new outlook and reignited excitement for this program I’m ready for it!
