Our vacation may have been cancelled due to COVID-19 but that doesn’t mean I cancelled my intentions with my 80 day program or put my goals on the backburner.
I actually spent this week in a lot of turmoil over voluntarily cancelling our trip, and then our CEO announced on the 11th that the event was cancelled anyway. My husband and I both agreed this brougth us relief because what if we chose to cancel and nothing bad happened, but what if we went and the worst case scenario played out. This choice from our CEO took the pressure off of us individually and brought a great sense of relief to my home. I know others are upset about this, don’t understand the the severity, or some are panicing and overreacting.
I’ve used this time as an opportunity to really focus on my family, all that I’m grateful for, and not surprisingly dive into my fitness goals even more. So, here are my updated photos for the week. I also finally took measurements at the beginning of last week, but I’m not sure how those will really play into tracking my progress for the entirety of this program since I didn’t take any on Day 1.

I’m very surprised that I’m still consistently losing weight every week. People have asked me what am I doing differently from before? I’m following a meal plan exactly how it is written and meant to be followed with the program I’m doing. It’s really quite simple. I just do what I’ve been told to do and I’m seeing the results that I want. Nutrition is HUGE in creating changes in our body composition. We have to pay attention to what we are eating. At the end of the day it is calories in vs calories out, but I want the calories I’m taking in to be filling and full of nutrition. I want the food I’m eating to compliment my workouts, I want to feel strong during my workouts, and I want to be giving my body the things it needs to recover properly.
