No Fuss Meal Prep

I’ll start this by saying I am not a professional meal prepper, this is actually the first time I’ve ever cooked and prepped everything I need for the week. I typically write out a menu for the week and just make sure things are ready to go for easy cooking. It’s served me well, but when you want something different you have to do something different and I want different BETTER results. So, I’m prepping better to do better.

What isn’t pictured is the bread I’ll be using for toast in the mornings, the eggs I’ll be cooking to go with my breakfast, and my superfood shakes I’ll be drinking every day.

What I used:
1 pound ground turkey (could sub in lean ground beef)
1 cup quinoa and brown rice
1 pound of strawberries
10 hard boiled eggs
1 bag of spinach
3 oranges
3 sliced zuchinni

Prep (time 30 minutes)
To cook the zuchinni I used 1 tbsp olive oil and some sea salt, and cooked about 15 minutes stirring frequently.
For the quinoa I followed the instructions on the box, bring water to a boil then to a low boil and leave with lid on for about 20 minutes.
I made the hard boiled eggs I put the eggs in a pot and filled with water about an inch above the eggs, brought to a boil and then turned off and put lid on the pot and let rest for 15 minutes.
I washed the spinach and dried and washed the strawberries and cut the tops off of them.

For my meals I will measure these different things out as I go throughout the week for lunches and dinners.
