I have completed 100 workouts in 100 days. I’m so proud of my own accomplishment, but I want to let you know that it didn’t come without it’s trials. Newly raising two babies, and I’ll be the first to tell you it has not been easy. Emilia is quite a bit more demanding than Nicholas was at her age. Nicholas as you know is not talking yet so he has a difficult time relaying his needs sometimes and also has had a hard time understanding that he needs to be a little patient; it’s a learning curve for all of us.
All of this, and I still work hard to build my business from home, workout, and keep my house together. Luckily the workouts in this program were only 20-30 minutes each which made it that much easier to get the workouts done daily. Now I know all of this is just a bunch of trivial information, but I think it’s also important that you know it wasn’t easy for me. It was far from it. Emilia still wakes 1-3 times a night, and naps are unpredictable. I do what I can for workouts when I can, which again is why these workouts are so convenient, they’re done at home and quick.
Now for the good stuff, in total postpartum I have lost the approximate 45 pounds I gained in pregnancy. In this program alone I lost 35 of those pounds. I didn’t weigh myself regularly throughout, and I did not take measurements either. Honestly I feel like the pictures do enough of the explaining about how my body changed. What you can’t see is how my mind changed, or the struggles I went through during this program. The last few weeks of this I felt stuck, frustrated, and like nothing was happening when clearly it was. After taking these pictures and putting them side by side I cried because it was proof that the work I’ve been doing has been paying off.
Now I’ll start the next program, and just keep going, but stay tuned because it’s going to be EPIC.
