Phase 2 Progress Update

Eleven weeks postpartum and I’m officially down to pre pregnancy weight! I truly and seriously attribute this to working out DURING pregnancy and continuing to eat healthy throughout. I learned the hard way with Nicholas that you can’t just YOLO your way through pregnancy and expect the weight to melt off. It doesn’t. Not even if you’re breastfeeding, which everyone likes to tell you is the case. So, now that I’m on this postpartum journey a second time around I’ve been much more appreciative of the process and how my body has responded to my workouts and nutrition. Even while I keep two tiny humans alive every day.

I’d like to point out that according to the scale there is only a 5 pound difference here, and to some that would be discouraging, but to me I look at these photos and have a huge sense of pride for the hard work I’ve done. 40 workouts have been done, 40 days of committing to a healthier me, and laying all of my excuses aside. Not every workout has been perfect, I modify like crazy, and I procrastinate more than I’d like to admit, but I still get it done and I give it my best every single day!
