The Busy Mom Holiday Fit Guide

I know, now more than ever, that the holiday season can be so crazy. Getting a workout in or even thinking about it sounds a little overwhelming right? WRONG!

You don’t have to do crazy things like go to the gym or spend over an hour doing a workout. All you need is 30 minutes a day 4 days a week AND you can still treat yourself with the holiday goodies (in moderation).

How? You ask. HIIT (high intesity interval training) and lifting weights. HIIT is known to be one of the most effective forms of cardio as it burns calories for a longer amount of time during recovery than traditional steady state cardio (ie: going on a long run). Mix this with weight training, which is also proven to be a more effective calorie burner, you’ll get better results and faster.
